Scanning Services

The Department of Pathology at UCSF prides itself on having over 14 years of experience scanning glass slides to turn them into whole slide digital images (WSDIs). The WSDIs can be used for quantitative analysis and are easily stored on an UCB stick, external hard drive, or the cloud. The pathology department utilizes the Leica GT-450 to create WSDIs for research and computational pathology.
